Scott Bobleo and I hit up a local thrift shop on Wednesday and added a huge lump to our baby clothes stash. Can you believe that we got this entire pile of clothes for fifteen bucks? If only I could dress myself so cheaply. The big score, in my opinion, was a gallon ziplock bag full of tiny baby socks. When I sifted through them at home there were a couple of pairs that were stained and crusted beyond repair, but for the most part, they were all good.
Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it? How do babies get their socks that dirty? It's not like he's out there mowing the lawn. These were like, caked in mud. At least I thought it was mud. Maybe the former owner of these socks had some kind of serious poop explosion?
Definitely chucking that pair.
The rest is going in the wash today, after which it will be sorted by size and squirreled away for the day Babe-leo can fit into them all. It's hard to believe that the tickly little creature making itself at home in my guts will be wearing all this stuff. What the what?
